Double vinyl LP pressing 2014 release, the long awaited follow up to the critically acclaimed album VOODOO. Nearly 15 years in the making, BLACK MESSIAH contains 12 tracks of timeless music with poignant and provocative lyrics that requires repeat listening at maximum volume! on the album, D'Angelo is joined by his band, the Vanguard, alongside Pino Palladino, James Gadson and Questlove on various tracks on the album. All lyrics were written by D'Angelo in addition to Q-Tip and Kendra Foster who both wrote lyrics on several songs. with the high quality of live musicianship featured on the album, it's important to note that "No digital 'plug-ins' of any kind were used in this recording. All of the recording, processing, effects and mixing was done in the analog domain using tape and mostly vintage equipment." Includes the single "Really Love".

All vinyl LPs are BRAND NEW official release BLACK vinyl new/reissue LPs/records unless stated in the title - if a colour is stated and you are ordering that colour please check with us first. All CDs are brand new official record company issues and are generally sealed.

 

Postage is as shown in the listing. For all countries outside Australia check the "Postage" tab for more details. All items are sent tracked (*). For Australian orders subsequent items cost $4 postage each.

 

NOTE: due to emergency situation processing times can be 10 days or longer - orders will usually arrive with you within the estimated delivery time in the listing, buy please bear in mind there can be extended postal delays at present.

For overseas orders your delivery may take longer than stated by eBay, you as the buyer are responsible for any customs/duty charges that may apply outside AU, and we recommend you follow the tracking provided as you may not be provided with a card to advise your order has arrived.

Items may be returned to us if received damaged or faulty. We do not accept change of mind returns (see below).

 

If you need to return anything please get in touch with us directly so we can arrange the return - please don't use the eBay returns system as this limits how we can help you.

 

We do not accept change or mind ("buyer's remorse") returns.  Any items returned from outside Australia due to non-collection or non-payment of customs fees will be subject to a $30 AUD restocking fee and postage of goods sent out will NOT be refunded.  Overseas buyers please note; your order may be subject to customs charges and sales tax (VAT/GST) when entering your country, we have no control over these charges and will not refund any charges incurred.
