Description
Up for auction is the soundtrack LP for George Romero's zombie classic DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978) featuring the legendary score by Goblin! This is the Varese Sarabande LP. The record was originally purchased in the 1980s and I have been the sole owner. Obviously the big selling point is it is autographed by star Ken Foree ("Peter") and FX maestro Tom Savini. I obtained both autographs at a Fangoria Weekend of Horrors show in the mid-1990s. Sleeve is in good shape with some scuffing on corners and tears at the top corners on the front (see pic). Back has a tiny bit of tape on it and the bottom of the sleeve has a tear. The vinyl record is housed in a paper sleeve and in good shape. Please note that it was played and handled by me as a teenager, so I wasn't necessarily thinking in terms of keeping it mint. And I can't comment on how it plays as I haven't had a record player in over 20 years. Please feel free to ask any questions though. Record will come with a plastic cover.
