On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Davy Graham called "The Guitar Player" and is an ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Golden Guinea label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS DAVY GRAHAM'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1963 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  AND THERE IS ONE VERY SIMPLE REASON WHY THIS LP NEVER SOLD AT ALL!!!!  GOLDEN GUINEA WERE WELL KNOWN FOR RELEASING 'RE-ISSUE' LPs BY TOP RATED ARTISTS!!!!  FOR EXAMPLE - THEY RE-RELEASED THE KINKS 1ST LP ON THIS FORMAT IN 1966.  MOST GOLDEN GUINEA LPs SOLD WELL - AND ARE EASY TO FIND TODAY.  HOWEVER!!!!  THIS LP WAS VERY DIFFERENT!!!!  DAVY GRAHAM WAS A COMPLETE UNKNOWN IN 1963 - HE HAD NEVER HAD A HIT RECORD, AND TO THE AVERAGE RECORD BUYER WHO DIDNT KNOW ANY BETTER - THIS LP HAD NOTHING TO RECOMMEND IT.  AS A RESULT, ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES WERE EVER SOLD - AND IN TERMS OF SALES FIGURES - THIS IS UNDOUBTEDLY DAVY GRAHAMS RAREST LP EVER!!!!  INCIDENTALLY - THIS LP (UNLIKE MOST ON THE GOLDEN GUINEA LABEL!) IS NOT A RE-ISSUE AT ALL - IT WAS IN FACT A COMPLETELY NEW RELEASE (AT THE TIME!)  - AND DAVY GRAHAM'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS GOLDEN GUINEA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE  - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Golden Guinea UK 1st Pressing from 1963 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is GGL 0224 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Golden Guinea Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!  

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has only 1 small scuff type mark, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, only 1 VERY light scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with only a VERY few light clicks/pops (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (with some 'tipping in' to the bottom 2 corners), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
