US trumpeter Miles Davis gets another welcome trawl through the archives with The Lost Recordings unearthing this previously unheard Helsinki concert alongside the complete Berlin Jazztage performance from 1964. 'Autumn Leaves' is carried by Wayne Shorter's spiralling saxophone, Tony Williams' skittish drumming and Herbie Hancock' quick-footed piano work. 'Walkin'' opens at a drowsy crawl, then slips into mercurial improvisation as Davis lets the band roam before dropping in with his characteristically laconic phrasing.
