Beautiful copy of the original 1977 private press LP of the self-titled David Grisman Quintet album on Kaleidoscope F-5 (Grisman's own little joke: he plays an F-5 mandolin). Features a young and unbelievable Tony Rice, as well as Darol Anger, Todd Phillips, and Bill Amatneek. Tony Rice is just on fire on this album, playing things we didn't know he could do before. Absolutely incredibly playing all the way through. What an album...  and this copy is just gorgeous. The disc is very nearly perfect mint and plays flawlessly and beautifully. The cover has light wear, with a bit of creasing at the corners, some ringwear, and a date sticker on the back (4-23-77). Anyhow it is a beautiful original copy and it sounds just incredible.
