Description

For auction here is the David Bowie album 'The Man Who Sold The World'. It was released in the USA on Mercury SR 61325. This is an almost perfect copy and is a final upgrade.
There is a lot of talk about fake copies of this so, here is my understanding:- Checking on Discogs originals have 'stamped' matrix numbers which this does; the speech bubble on the B side is CLOSE to the last line of 'The Supermen' as this is. I have got confused over the years as to the 'exact' colours of the original as one person seems to be saying one thing and another something else. Please make your own judgement on this copy but I am fairly certain it is one of the low-selling originals. I have owned it for more than 20 years and the friend that I bought it off of had owned it from new when released.

The LP cover is thick card which is prone to wear but this copy is superb and intact. The ONLY fault might be a slight rub on one corner but it is slight.
The inner plain sleeve is, I believe, original and is perfect.
The vinyl is EXCELLENT and has hardly been played by the look of it. I have the UK copy as well and tend to play that so I don't think that I have played this one. My friend hardly played his vinyl either and, knowing him, it's possible he didn't play it either but I am not certain. There are NO visible spindle marks. On close inspection there are few faint hairline marks but, from my experience, it's nigh-on impossible to find a record completely unblemished.

Please bid with confidence as I have a 100% positive feedback rating.
If bidding from outside the UK then please contact me first for postage rates.
