This sale is for I'm Afraid of Americans with no less than six versions of the song, that's 40 minutes of music from David Bowie. Remixed by Nine Inch Nails and Photek. The great charcoal drawing sleeve design is by Bowie himself. This 12" single is now extremely rare! Six great versions of I'm Afraid of Americans from the 1997 album Earthling. The song, co-written by Bowie and Brian Eno, was originally written during Bowie's studio sessions for the 1995 album Outside but was not released until a rough mix appeared on the soundtrack to the film Showgirls and was subsequently remade for Earthling. This copy is still double sealed. It has the original factory heat shrink seal, plus an outer polythene seal by HMV when I placed a special import order for the disc in 1997.

This is a must for any David Bowie fan or collector, and would make a great gift idea. These items are all from my own personal David Bowie record collection that I have collected over many years, I have only played some of them once or twice (if at all with some of them) although I have played them for grading and listing on ebay (unless they are still factory sealed). They have all been stored properly in plastic covers for protection, and rarely even handled. It's finally time to sell my beloved collection. I have LOTS more interesting David Bowie vinyl which I will be selling soon. I have more LPs, 7"singles and 12" singles. Also some 'Record Collector' and other magazines that feature Bowie.
