This is a superb copy of this iconic 70's LP but what makes it extra special is the fan club membership folder it comes with. Only the first issue LPs contained this and because so many were used by the buyers to register their membership of the fan club they are either missing or contain only the half with the photograph. This copy has the complete folder with the registration form part still intact.

The LP itself is in superb condition. The vinyl is as close to MINT as you will ever find. I could not see any marks whatsoever on either of the playing surfaces even when viewed under angled artificial light. I am not exaggerating when I say this LP looks unplayed. I do not use the grade often as I explain below but I have no hesitation is grading the vinyl as MINT.

The labels are equally superb and are pretty much mint. The card lyric inner sleeve is EX++ - just a slight crease but nothing that goes through to both sides. The important fan club has a corner bend but no writing and I would grade this as EX.

The cover of this LP tends to become grubby and discoloured and so it is rare to find one that is truly in EX condition like this one.

You will struggle to find a better copy than this one or one that is completet with fan club insert.

The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT ('UNPLAYED' if still sealed in shrink wrap or occasionally full MINT but only if the provenance of the item suggests this to be correct). Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. GRADING SYSTEM

NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect. For MINT grading see above

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.
