There is no CD with this, and the only insert is the 8x10 photo. EMI/Ryko prepared the re-issue of Bowie's breakthrough album in much detail, starting with this funny promo-only release. It comes in a gatefold jacket whose outer side is identical to that of the regular issue, but whose inner side is unique to this promo. The jacket contains a vinyl copy of the Ziggy album without any bonus tracks, but with artificial surface noise to demonstrate the "deficiencies" of the vinyl format. Moreover, the labels of the disc mock the original RCA label design and US catalogue number ("LSD-4702" instead of "LSP-4702").
