On offer here is a very rare U.K. UNPLAYED DEMO single (especially in this condition!!!!) by David Bowie,called "The Laughing Gnome" with the B side being "The Gospel According To Tony Day".See details of this crownjewel at the pictures below!!! However this single is very very rare!!!! It is a geniune UK pressed DEMONSTRATION RECORD!!!! These are very very rare and only very very limited amounts were ever pressed!!!! Dont miss this!!!! Demonstration Records were special records pressed in very limited numbers for Radio Stations, and other press outlets to promote the song on single BEFORE it was released!!!! So naturally these are very very rare and very hard to come by!!!! This David Bowie record is identified as a DEMONSTRATION RECORD as it has a WHITE/TURQUOISE DERAM label(Normally it has the ordinary brown label!) and a TURQUOISE "A" on the A side!!!!This is for show the dee jay´s which side to play! Also the record has "Demonstration Sample" & "Not For Sale" printed on BOTH sides!!!!This record is very very very rare!!!!Don`t miss out!!!!It shows also the "Date of release 14-4-67" on the A-side!!!The matrix numbers on this Demonstration Record are DR-39798-TI-IC and DR-39799-TI-IC. This is the ORIGINAL UK 1967 DERAM pressing, and is in STUNNING,UNPLAYED condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is DM.123 on the "Demonstration Record" White/TURQUOISE (& TURQUOISE "A") label (see pictures below) and is a MONO pressing!!!!It has also the PUSH-OUT-CENTRE,which is very important too!Don`t miss out!!!!Have a look at my pictures below- I do my best to show the record from all angles-and make the pictures as clear as possible - There is nothing to hide!!!!Its as simple as that!!!! THIS RECORD STILL HAS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! AWESOME!!!! Both sides shine like new and both sides are very dark looking with no groovewear!!!!!It makes it easy for me to describe it,without saying,it has NO faults,NO writing,NO tears,NO spindlemarks,NOTHING,it`s JUST NEW,because it was NEVER PLAYED!!!!!It really is a great looking single and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE DEMO by DAVID BOWIE in this sort of condition!!!!This record has also its original company sleeve!It has a german "Teldec"sleeve,because they distributed the Decca stuff(Deram was a sublabel of Decca!)at this time.I`ve got the record from a german radioman,who got it 1967 directly from the Teldec record-company,and he kept it in his stock since there!!He has never played this record!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL DEMO PRESSING OF "RUBBER BAND"BY DAVID BOWIE, IN STUNNING,NEW&UNPLAYED,CONDITION!!!!
