Description
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
DAVID BOWIE.
THE LAUGHING GNOME / THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO TONY DAY.
ORIGINAL 1967 DERAM UK 7" SINGLE - DM.123.
This is the rare 1st issue with inverted numbers on both labels. This is not to be confused with the very common 1973 re-issue.
The Record / Visually EX- condition. Visually the disc is in nice clean shape with only a little light surface wear under halogen bulb. The record has a nice gloss and is graded visually Near Excellent / EX- condition.
I will give a play grade of VG+ due to the record playing with some surface crackle on the intros and under the music. This is not very bad and the disc is still good to play. Please see my feedback. .
The Labels / EX condition. Both labels are in great condition.
The Cover/ VG+ condition. Original Deram cover in very nice clean shape. A small Letter A has been added to the back of the cover.
The disc is now housed a a new polylined cover as seen in the pictures. .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
