Australian Release date: 8 November 1973 (original UK Release date: 14 April 1967).  Recording date: 26 January 1967.

On offer here is a VERY RARE original Australian issue of “The Laughing Gnome” 7” single by DAVID BOWIE.  This is the first (and only) release of this single in Australia, therefore it is a genuine first issue from 1973.  It sold poorly at the time scraping into the lower reaches of the charts.  So do not miss the opportunity to acquire one of the RAREST DAVID BOWIE VINYL ARTEFACTS ever issued worldwide!

visual: beautiful glossy sheen—insignificant hairlines & few very light surface scuffs (side 1: VG+(+) / side 2: VG++) (seen under strong light).

audible: sounds great despite some underlying surface noise (side 1: VG++ / side 2: VG(+)).  A HIGHLY ENJOYABLE LISTENING EXPERIENCE!

labels: HARDLY ANY SPINDLE WEAR + light soiling.

sleeve: original “Decca / London / Deram”.
