On offer here is a VERY rare single indeed (especially in this condition!!!!) called "The Laughing Gnome" by David Bowie and is a UK 1967 1st pressing on the 1st Press Deram label!!!! The B side is called 'The Gospel According To Tony Day'. THIS SINGLE IS MASSIVELY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 100% GENIUNE UK 1967 1ST PRESSING WITH 'INVERTED' MATRIXES ON THE RECORD LABELS!!!! THIS SINGLE IS ALSO IN STUNNING CONDITION AND PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! THIS IS THE 1967 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DERAM LABEL, 'INVERTED' MATRIXES ON THE RECORD LABELS, AND ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS COMPANY SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Deram 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Deram label and the Cat No is DM 123. Any fan of David Bowie, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The record is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 2 or 3 NON sounding TINY surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING (if not better) as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! IT IS AMAZINGLY RARE TO FIND A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS SINGLE THAT PLAYS LIKE THIS!!!! There is NO groovewear and NO distortion and this record has AWESOME crystal clear quality sound!!!! The single must grade visually Excellent(Minus) if not better - with the playing grade MUCH better still!!!! THIS RECORD PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL Company sleeve which is GREAT condition!!!!
