Description
This is an independent recording made at a live concert.
The recording was made at the Santa Monica Auditorium on October 20, 1972, on the Ziggy Stardust tour.
NOTE!... The recording quality is not of record company standard... I.E. Amateur
The top right-hand corner of the cover has a 10cm split.
As you can imagine, these independent record companies don't spend a lot on quality packaging...
The cardboard is heavy, but a little yellowed with age, as are the paper record covers.
Even the record labels don't say it's Bowie - just some generic labelling... But I assure you it's Bowie live gold!!
However, the vinyl is in excellent condition - as good as the day I bought it.
The beauty of this recording is that it's not over-dubbed or manipulated in any way - you get to hear classic Bowie live - with Mick Ronson on lead guitar during a world tour!
This ultra, ultra rare double LP was found by me in a Sydney bookshop in 1977.
If you can find this online on planet Earth you're smarter than me!
O.K.. so what do we have here?... An impossible-to-find double live, amateur-recorded LP of the classic Ziggy Stardust band line-up touring America in the early 70's!... PURE GOLD!!!!

Finally... lets be realistic - rough recording and all - this diamond is mega rare, and I walked half the Earth to find it, so if one of you true Bowie aficionados desires it, you must be prepared to pay a fair price!
For God's sake...It's only money!
