Description
ORIGINAL pressing of Bowie's landmark 1976 album that saw him combine his classic pop/rock sound with funk, soul and synth influences.
Semi-matt outer cover, red and white insert, inner sleeve and both sides of vinyl are all in very good+ condition.
Just a little light shelf wear/creasing around outside edges of cover - consistent with age and regular playing when released - corners are still good and artist/album name clearly visible along the spine. Both faces are free of significant dings/dents and there are just a couple of discolouration spots on reverse side (see photo).
Album-sized red on white insert is in generally very good condition, with nice square corners. Both right-hand corner is discoloured by light brownish spotting.
Plain inner sleeve in very good+ condition.
Classic orange RCA Victor labels (record was pressed in England) are near-perfect (see photos). This (slightly later but still original 1976 pressing) has "Stereo" printed on righthand side of Side 1 and Side 2 (see photos).
Vinyl has some surface marks consistent with being pulled in and out of inner sleeve and played on good-quality hi-fi separates system and retains most of its original gloss. "APL1-1327-A-2E" hand etched into A side runout and "APL1-1327-B-1E" etched into B side runout.
Side one tracks: Station To Station, Golden Years, Word On A Wing. Side two: TVC15, Stay, Wild Is The Wind.
