Description

Welcome to my collection of original vinyl from the 60's, 70's and 80's including some rare Prog, Classic Rock and Punk. This is my personal collection, mostly purchased at the time of release including many FIRST PRESSINGS with the original  sleeves, inners and inserts. The vinyl has been in careful storage, in dust and light-proof packaging in PVC sleeves, upright for nearly 30 years and at the time was carefully played on a high-end audiophile system. I have tried to grade as accurately as possible using the Rare Record Collector's guide.  If you would like any more information or photos just email me. Please have a look at my other listings, I am happy to combine postage.

MINT (M): THE RECORD IS IN BRAND NEW OR SEALED CONDITION WITH NO SURFACE MARKS OR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY.  THE COVER AND INSERTS ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION.

NEAR MINT (NM): THE RECORD IS IN "AS NEW" CONDITION BUT MAY HAVE BEEN PLAYED A SMALL NUMBER OF TIMES. THERE WOULD BE NO SURFACE MARKS OR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY.  THE COVER AND INSERTS SHOULD BE NEAR PERFECT WITH ONLY VERY MINIMAL WEAR AND TEAR.

EXCELLENT (EX): THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEING PLAYED, BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY. THERE MAY BE THE ODD LIGHT MARK OR HAIRLINE  MARK PRODUCING THE ODD LIGHT CRACKLE OR TICK, BUT NO SKIPS OR JUMPS./ THE COVER MIGHT HAVE SLIGHT WEAR AND/OR CREASING.

VERY GOOD (VG): THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES, BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE NOTICEABLE SURFACE MARKS AND OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH. THERE WILL BE NO SKIPS OR JUMPS./ NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE COVER, WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS, IS ACCEPTABLE.

GOOD (G): THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE SOUND QUALITY HAS NOTICEABLY DETERIORATED, PERHAPS WITH SOME DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES./ THE COVER SUFFERS FROM FOLDING, SCUFFING OF EDGES, SPINE SPLITS, DISCOLORATION ETC.

FAIR (F): THE RECORD IS STILL JUST PLAYABLE BUT HAS NOT BEEN CARED FOR PROPERLY AND DISPLAYS CONSIDERABLE SURFACE NOISE; IT MAY EVEN JUMP. THE COVER WILL BE TORN, STAINED AND/OR DEFACED AND IS ONLY OF USE AS A COLLECTION FILLER.
