Description

Ongoing occasional sale of selected items from my personal collection of vinyl and CDs, the vast majority of which have been owned by me from new and have been safely stored in a smoke-free home. I try to describe each item as accurately as possible (vinyl will normally be play-tested) and therefore don't routinely accept returns - but I'm happy to offer a no quibble refund in the unlikely event that significant defects are found which were not called out in the listing.

This item....

  • Rare early UK pressing of Bowie's classic covers album Pinups
  • With two-sided insert featuring album credits and some lyrics
  • Label / catalogue number - RCA RS 1003
  • Matrix numbers - very faint but I think they are A-1T and B-1T
  • More RCA Bowie albums listed and more to follow over the coming months 
Condition notes.... 
  • There are no obvious marks on the vinyl and it plays VG throughout - there is some light crackle during run-ins, between tracks and in quiet parts, but it's a pretty loud album so nothing too distracting, and a deep clean might bring the sound up to VG+/EX 
  • The outer sleeve is also a solid VG, very close to EX - there's just some light wear to edges and spine and faint partial ring marks
  • The insert is also in very good condition overall - it does show minor signs of handling but there are no tears or deep creases
  • When angled to the light both labels have smudge/finger marks - these might clean up. No other flaws of note 
Postage notes.... 
  • Records will be dispatched in a high quality custom mailer with additional cardboard within the package 
  • Unless the item is new and still sealed I'll remove the record from both the outer sleeve and any printed inner in order to prevent seam splits in transit  
  • UK - eBay have prescribed 'Simple Delivery' for this item which means that it's no longer within my control to discount postage costs for multiple purchases. But if you buy more than one item then eBay should combine the purchases into a single order and discount postage costs accordingly.
  • Rest of the world - Please note that I only sell overseas via ebay's Global Shipping Programme, which sets postages rates and does not appear to include the facility to combine p&p costs for multiple purchases. Please don't bid if you're not prepared to accept GSP costs or process - thanks 
  • And I'm not currently shipping to Belarus, Ukraine or the Russian Federation
