Description
DAVID BOWIE “Narrates Peter and the Wolf” NM GREEN VINYL! 1978 Original Release.
The package is complete with green vinyl, insert, and Red Seal lined inner sleeve. The vinyl looks pristine and rarely if ever played. The cover has some shelf wear but overall excellent considering the 45 years of storage. The inner sleeve is complete with one small seam split. The insert is intact with only a little yellowing. Really nice copy to play and collect.
Eugene Ormandy conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra with David Bowie’s narration of the now classic “Peter and the Wolf”. It was a bold move in 1978 for RCA Red Seal to use Bowie for this project, but the result was well regarded and sold well. The project was Grammy nominated for best children’s recording but lost out to the first Muppet album. The green vinyl is beautiful! For Bowie completists, this is a must for your collection.
Photos are of actual copy for sale.
