DAVID BOWIE - NEVER LET ME DOWN 2018. ************************************************ "NEVER LET ME DOWN 2018" on glorious vinyl.
************************************************ 180g audiophile vinyl, as are all the David Bowie albums I am selling and there are many(take a look).

A BOLD EXPERIMENT WAS TAKEN WITH THE "NEVER LET ME DOWN" ALBUM. SOME YEARS BACK BOWIE EXPRESSED THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO GO BACK AND REDO THE ORIGINAL "NEVER LET ME DOWN". SO, IN JULY 2018 IT WAS REVEALED THAT THE ALBUM WOULD BE RE-RELEASED AS "NEVER LET ME DOWN 2018" WITH "A BRAND NEW PRODUCTION" AND NEW INSTRUMENTATION, OVERSEEN BY PRODUCER/ENGINEER MARIO J. McNULTY.
MANY OF THE THE MUSICIANS USED ON THIS ALBUM HAD WORKED WITH BOWIE PREVIOUSLY. Laurie Anderson was not on the original album.
She replaced the strange Mickey Rourke "rap" that was originally on "Shining Star(Makin' My Love) with her vocals. I think that was.....a wise choice.
THE ORIGINAL "NEVER LET ME DOWN" WAS A SINGLE ALBUM. THIS RE-MIX/RE-RECORDING IS A DOUBLE ALBUM WITH THE FIRST 3 SIDES BEING THE MUSIC AND SIDE FOUR BEING A LOGO ETCHING. Please see last photo to see the etching(please pardon the overhead lighting).

Album was played only once and is in like new condition. Please pardon the varying light sources in the photos.
