Matrix : BPRS 4512 1E / 4513 1E
This is the UK 1st RCA press, the earliest is on Mercury, on the plain bright orange RCA label. It is complete with the very earliest rare BPRS 4512 1E / 4513 1E matrix and the Mainman publishing credits. It is also complete with the original printed inner sleeve and rare original poster. This is not a flimsy Dynaflex press, it is the very 1st UK heavier vinyl RCA press.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. There is a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There are just a couple of wispy light marks otherwise the vinyl is absolutely superb. The label is also superb, the orange is exceptionally bold and the text is immaculate. There is just the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is excellent clarity and audio separation. There are moments of very slight noise but these are just static or dust as there is no wear to the grooves or significant markings at all. It is a pleasure from start to finish, the sound is superb.
The scarce lyric inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The black is bold and the white text is sharp. The edges are firm and the whole sleeve is solid.
The poster is in Excellent condition. Very solid and firm.
The matt Robert Stace sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is bold and the image is sharp and bright. There is the slightest ring wear otherwise this sleeve is superb. Very solid and the edges are firm. 586 (GS 6.8 (586))
