DAVID BOWIE The Man Who Sold The World - Incredibly rare original 1971 UK Mercury label vinyl LP, in a genuine legendary 'Dress Sleeve', or 'Drag Cover' as it's known in the US! This sleeve was WITHDRAWN in the UK and is highly sought after by collectors the world over. It is very hard to find genuine dress sleeves these days - most are poor counterfeits; this is the real deal! 6338041

The delicate textured sleeve is beautifully clean, and unmarked, in EX condition, with just a little light shelfwear (see photos). There are no rips, tears, writing or stickers.
The vinyl is in great condition, with just one light hairline noticeable on Side 1 and a few light cosmetic surface marks visible upon close inspection on both sides. There is some light crackling, mainly noticeable on quieter parts, and between tracks, but nothing major. There are no jumps or sticking.
The black Mercury label has no blemishes, sticker marks or writing just a few spindle marks around the centre (see photos). This copy has "Tony Visconti" spelt correctly on the labels (see photos)
Comes complete with the original poly-lined inner.
A wonderful item - the jewel in any Bowie collection.
