David Bowie Low 1977 Original LP RCA Victor US version
CPL1-2030 Recorded (mostly) in France at The Chateau and and also at Hansa by the Wall in West Berlin, Germany, where the album was also mixed. Etching reads "gc" who mastered the album. Stamped next to etching : STERLING, for Sterling Sound, where the album was mastered. See pictures for all details

Inner sleeve has 4" split seem along right side
outer sleeve is beautiful, but is marked with 1/4"x1" piece of yellow tape at top left, front and back- see pictures
As for the vinyl, the record sounds fantastic but does have slight surface noise during quiet passages such as b1 "Warszawa"
A side label has faint stamp over RCA/Victor dog logo, difficult to read - again, see photos

Part one of Bowie's "Berlin Trilogy" (followed by Heroes and Lodger). Recorded soon after Bowie had moved to Berlin, was recovering from a cocaine addiction, listening to Kraftwerk and Neu!, sharing an apartment with Iggy Pop and hanging out with Brian Eno, who lent uncredited production assistance to Bowie and Visconti in addition to co-writing the spooky, ambient track "Warszawa" with Bowie and playing various instruments and machines throughout the album. It doesn't get much cooler than this.
