David Bowies Debut Single " The Laughing Gnome" Irish Pressing On Deram with a different Catalogue number DM (1) 123.
His whimsical Pop Psych debut may not have given any clue to his future but as a consequence was not a big seller.
Very rare this pressing states Made In England on the label but this is the Deram Irish Press and is much rarer than the standard English and Inverted matrix copy.
Has sold for up to $400 in the past year this variant is relatively new on the Bowie collectors radar.

VINYL GRADE: This record in EX on Laughing Gnome side with one visible scuff that does not effect play very clean. VG++ on side two with one or two light hairlines. One of the best copies available. The label is clean and the yellow Deram circle and semi circle is pressed slightly off centre on the A side only, as are other copies. Please see photo. But has no writing and is a very presentable copy.
