On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) by David Bowie called "The Laughing Gnome" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Deram label!!!! The B side is called 'The Gospel According To Tony Day'. THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF DAVID BOWIES RAREST 45s EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS ON RELEASE BACK IN 1967 - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS 45 REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! INCREDIBLY, NOT ONLY DOES IT HAVE 'INVERTED MATRIXES' ON THE LABELS (LATER ONES DONT!) AND 1/1 MATRIXES - BUT IT AMAZINGLY HAS 1/B 1/U MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS (THE 1ST & 2ND STAMPERS EVER USED!)!!!! THIS CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THIS ONE OF THE FIRST 500 COPIES EVER MADE AND DEFINITIVELY FROM BEFORE THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1967!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET - AND ONE OF THE RAREST DAVID BOWIE 45s EVER!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS 45 IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DERAM LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIXES, 1ST PRESS 'INVERTED LABEL MATRIXES', AND 1ST PRESS DERAM COMPANY SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Deram UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!! This is the ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Deram label and the Cat No is DM 123.
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear (apart from an absolutely TINY touch on 1 label), and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The record is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED LOOK'!!!! It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! This single must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! This record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Deram Company sleeve which is in SUPERB condition (NO edge splits, etc)!!!! THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
