Description
I have done my best to show the mark on the back of the label from the record pressing against it- other than that the item is like new and 100% genuine. Will be posted in a rigid mailer and wrapped in a way so the record can't move around in transit which is how most of the PVC covers get split.
Lady Stardust (4-Track Demo - Stereo)/ Crystal Japan
This release was sold exclusively at the shop of the V&A's "David Bowie Is" exhibition at the Warehouse TERRADA G1 Building in Tokyo, Japan in 2017. The release was withdrawn from sale approximately four weeks into the January 8 to April 9 run before returning in late March.
Track A is a previously unissued 2016 stereo mix.
The A side features a Masayoshi Sukita shot taken from a session in February 1973, at RCA Studios in New York. Bowie is wearing a costume by Japanese designer, Kansai Yamamoto.
The Sukita photograph on the AA side, taken in Tokyo in 1980, is from a session that remained unpublished until the Genesis Editions book of Sukita’s Bowie photographs, Speed Of Life, in 2012.
