This record is in excellent- condition. It does have some spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks to either side. There is however a few strange white lines on both sides and also a line or scuff on side 2. The centres also show some wear but are not overly loose or worn. Overall the labels are not pristine but are clean, bright and still in decent shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything serious, have a lovely gloss and overall are pretty clean in normal light. There is however a few very light surface lines and minor marks just about visible. These are all minor and light but are there nonetheless. These signs of use and some more thin light wispy lines and very minor 'sleeve scuffs' are visible under bright light but not a drastic amount and of course nothing sinister. So overall the record is used but is in good shape overall with no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded great throughout. It lays flat, there is only a hint of minor upward movement in the record arm and the sound produced is excellent throughout as I say. Its very clear with only a very minor amount of surface noise or interference occasionally audible in the audio and a little in the run in and between tracks. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and there are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks/pops. Overall it was a pleasure to play test a great sounding classic UK first press which produced good quality audio which was free of any major issues.
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some rubbing and wear to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is still clearly legible. There are no splits anywhere but there is a 1" area of damage on the spine(bottom), which seems to be some sort of impact issue. Other than this the edges have light rubbing but nothing horrific. Other than the edge wear there is also some creasing towards the right side of the front and more noticeably some indentations/scratches to the front. These indentations and the 'dent' to the spine are the sleeves main issues I would say. Other than these it is clean, bright and solid all round. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original picture/lyric inner which is in excellent+ condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks and only faint ring marks and minor creasing.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
