on very rare limited edition original 1971 UK variant first pressing LP in front laminated picture sleeve with lyric insert & glossy paper labels & original paper inner sleeve with made in great britain & patent nos. 1125555 printed on the bottom edge
released on RCA Victor Records SF8244 ( LSP 4623 ) APRS 5947/8
in 1971
There are two variant UK first pressings one with the GEM logo & one without the logo, this copy has the GEM logo on the reverse.
No Mainman logo on sleeve & has Titanic / Chrysalis publishing
the stamped matrix has APRS 5947 3 T & etched BOBIL A1T & APRS 5948 3 T & etched RASPUTIN A1M
The condition of the vinyl is very good - ( has light marks but plays through without jumps but some occasional mild surface noise / pops most noticable 'Changes' which has some light clicks from the intro until midway through the track ).
The front laminated sleeve has creasing & an inch long scratch on front .
The insert has creasing on the right hand side & a couple of small stain spots
The labels are clean with some light spindle marks.
A reasonable copy of this scarce laminated original 1st UK pressing of this 45 year old timeless classic !

All items are professionally packaged in brand new record mailers with two new card stiffeners & marked with a ‘fragile handle with care’ sticker. The records are also separated from the sleeve and placed in paper sleeve & poly covers.
I strongly recommend on all items recorded delivery within the UK and International Signed For option for Europe / Rest Of The World as this provides tracking information in the unlikely event of a lost item.
All Items / Packages sold for over £25.00 will be required to be sent Recorded / Internationally Signed For. I get proof of posting on all items from the Post Office.
