Description
This early example of Bowie's fourth album is a UK 1st pressing dating from initial release in December 1971 and is on the shiny orange & black RCA label: LSP 4623. Matrix numbers are: APRS 5947 3T & APRS 5948 3T. 'Bobil' & 'Rasputin' is inscribed into each respective run-out. Housed in a rare front laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover. Complete with both its original 'Robert Stace' printed inner-sleeve & double-sided lyric sheet.
The disc is in a VG+ condition with just a small number of harmless wispy hairlines and light sleeve rubs. Both sides of this copy play fine, with a negligible background noise and very light clicks. A flat, unfiltered recording of this album recorded directly from the disc can be checked here.
The cover is in a VG+ condition with general age-wear visible on the cover and a small seam split on the spine. The lyric sheet can be assesed as NM.
Additionally, I provide David Bowie's autograph together with the album. However, I cannot guarantee that it is a genuine one.
