How we grade our records...
Mint = either still sealed or absolutely perfect. Generally we will only give sealed records this grading.
Near Mint (NM) = pretty much perfect. Any open records that are practically flawless will receive this grade.
Excellent Plus (EX+) = very close to NM but just showing minor signs of handling. An outstanding disc.
Excellent (EX) = a really nice disc. Will possibly show some minor sleeve wear or a small, unfeelable spindle mark or hairline. You'll be pleased.
Very Good Plus (VG+) = a solid used album. There will be signs of usage, some light sleeve wear or rubs. Maybe a few minor spindle marks or hairlines. We will not list any records under this grade that have any blemishes that are feelable.
Very Good (VG) = not trashed but obvious signs of usage. Could be some feelable marks but no gouges or serious blemishes. We will do our best to give some description of the issues. Anything that we feel might cause a skip we will play grade. A decent disc that will likely play with some noise but will play through fine.
Good Plus (G+), Good (G), Fair (F) & Poor (P) = these discs will show a good amount of wear, getting worse as the grading goes down. There will be scratches, scuffs and all manner of blemishes. These discs we will play grade to assess playability and generally will only list rare and high value records that fall under these grades.
