DAVID BOWIE - HUNKY DORY SF 8244
Original UK Laminated Edition
Very rare to find these on the market, most Hunky Dory records have a matt-finished cover.
Lyric insert is included as well as the original plain white inner sleeve.
Matrix numbers end with 3T and 3T on both sides with Bobil and Rasputin hand etched on the inner groove.
Cover
The cover I would rate as being in Excellent condition for the reasons below:
There is no writing or staining; it is very nice and clean.
There is almost no ring-wear on this cover with barely noticeable indentations and crease lines. The corners are nice and square. The laminate has remained intact with the exception of a few minor wrinkles here and there (see close up picture) and the colours are slightly faded. Nonetheless, the cover remains is in excellent condition and well preserved for its age.
The wording on the spine is very well preserved, square and solid, as you will see in the photographs.
The back cover is exceptionally clean.
Record
Both sides are in Excellent condition. The playback is rich and warm in sound. Slight crackling sounds here and there, which would be expected of a record this age. Nonetheless, this record has had few plays, very well taken care of with no visible scratches or other faults.
The labels are in Near Mint condition, high gloss and slippery to the touch. They appear untouched with next to no spindle marks.
