This comes from my father’s collection. He worked for RCA, Polydor/Polygram and ABC Records in the mid-late 70’s. This record has not seen a needle in over 40 years other than a quick 30 second test for this auction to preserve the listening experience.
Record is without a doubt in very good+ OR BETTER condition. If you gave it a good cleaning you’ll have a phenomenal record on your hands. As with any record of this age you should expect slight surface noise is quiet spots and transitions. Be reasonable and you’ll be VERY happy.
I am aware there are insane / picky collectors out there, so if that is you, please find this elsewhere.
COVER: Please review photos. It looks FANTASTIC. You might expect the slightest of dings on corners or the lightest of creases. (Paper insert has a crease on the corner as shown) But this is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen of this cover. Again, I’m happy to take additional photos. Just message me.
GRADING: (VINYL) I feel VG+ is a more than fair grading for this record. As previously stated: This comes from my father’s collection. LABEL ON SIDE 2 shows a black spot. This is NOT a tear on the label. It is glossy. What you would expect to see from black marker but I do not think it is marker either. It may have been printed that way. Either way, it’s there. See photos.
