Genuine 1st Pressing - Bowie's first ever release
Vocalion V.9221 Dick James Music
Machine stamped matrix:
Side 1: CPDRF-33318-T1-1C
Side 2: CPDRF-33317-T1-1C
It is estimated that only around 500 were ever pressed. It was counterfeited in the US but the easiest way to spot the difference is that the counterfeit has hand-scratched matrix numbers & the disc has no centre.

The black labels are free from tears, glue or blemishes other than the initials 'BP' written on both sides in the removable centre. Fortunately 'BP' wrote these in black or dark-blue biro & so are only visible if you tilt the record in a certain light & look very closely. The record has clearly been played many times but the surface marks are all very light. Record plays with some crackles but no clicks or jumps etc.

Mint - CD, Record or sleeve in brand new condition with no marks
Excellent - Record shows some signs of having been played. Vinyl or CD may have very light scratches or markings. Cover & packaging might have slight wear &/or creasing / minor seam damage. CD inserts may have dents from jewel case studs etc
Very Good - Record has obviously been played many times with noticeable surface marks. Cover & packaging may have more obvious defects / damage such as seam splits / heavy creases etc.
