Description

Here is a rare original UK vinyl copy of David Bowie by David Bowie on Philips from 1969.
The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in G+ condition with some edge, corner and spinal wear, a neat hardly noticeable name inside the gatefold (top left, above 'DAVID') and some indentations on the rear panel together with some print loss near the rodent's head and hand, all of which may be seen in my photos. Sounds like a lot but in truth this is an above average sleeve for this album, still very strong (not worn out and floppy) with no rips or sticker tears, and altogether still very presentable and useable.
The disc is VG- and generally plays well and vibrantly with some light background noise though there are several light ticks at the start of An Occasional Dream and what sounds like two jumps or clicks during the fade of Space Oddity. There's no writing or rips on either label although there is more evidence of spindle marks than my photos show.
Good luck if you are bidding - I carefully pack vinyl using professional packaging and with the disc removed from the sleeve to prevent knifing during transit.
