Released in 1966, this is an original UK pressing of what is one of the holy grails for David Bowie and rare record collectors alike. Fans and collectors of David Bowie will know the importance and significance of this unbelievably rare record which was his first ever official release under the Bowie moniker. Remember, at this time, Bowie was a struggling songwriter who would not achieve chart success for another 3 years with `Space Oddity` and his massive meteoric rise to superstardom was some 6 years in the future with the conceptual `Ziggy Stardust` LP.
A massively rare record that I thought would always remain elusive to me, until now.
As i`m sure you are aware, not only is this impossibly rare, it is two sides of fantastic swinging 60`s pop perfection. The sound of mid 60`s swinging London is captured here on original vinyl, an absolute gem of a record.
Very difficult to find, get it while you can!
Vinyl and Labels - V. Good
Visually the record has some surface marks, mainly visible under harsh electric light. The sound quality approaches excellent, mild crackle on run in grooves and occasional light background crackle are the only audible faults to mention. This mid 60`s piece of pop and rock history is in well above average condition and I would doubt there will be many out there that will sound as good as this. If you are the person who wins this auction, you will have a truly fine example of an extremely rare David Bowie record that sounds fantastic.

No problems at all, as new, looks and sounds perfect. Sleeve will also be perfect.
Near Mint
Very few plays, minimal spindle trails around centre hole, suggesting this record has hardly been played.
Ex Some minor surface marks, mainly visable under harsh electric light, may have some very minor background interference and the odd isolated light click. But no serious faults to prevent music being enjoyed.V. Good
The record has obviously been played quite a bit and may have quite a few surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sound quality is not affected too much, at worst a bit of background interference and occasional ticks but no major faults that prevent music from being enjoyed.

A lot of surface marks and scratches causing noticeable deteriation in sound quality. Record however, will not be unlistenable, but will have some distortion of sound and or light to moderate clicks.I will not sell any record with a grading lower than good.
