Up for auction is a beautiful original copy of the David Bowie album Aladdin Sane, originally released in the U.S. on RCA Records (LSP 4852) in 1973:
-Guaranteed original pressing, not reissue -Correct original orange RCA labels -Original "dynaflex" pressing -Original insert/inner sleeve w/ lyrics -Original gatefold cover -No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: The true first pressings of this album have the rare orange RCA dynaflex labels like this copy. Most copies sold as "original" on eBay have the 2nd pressing "tan" RCA labels. Serious collectors should know the difference.
Condition: Cover is in great condition, very clean and bright. No significant wear or age, just a couple faint, superficial rubs on front and back, but not significant. No ring wear, no seam splits. Clean edges and corners. Gatefold spine is tight, probably has never been opened all the way. Titles clean. Very nice original! Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-)
Vinyl looks beautiful, still has its original shine. No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeves a few times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Looks like this record has maybe been played only once previously but handled with care. Very clean original! Grade: Near Mint (NM)
