In early 1977, David Bowie released an album titled 'Low', the first of the three album 'Berlin trilogy'. 'Heroes' was released in late '77 (October). The third and last of the trilogy is 'Lodger', which came out in 1979. On each album, Bowie worked with Brian Eno and producer Tony Visconti. (Eno came from Roxy Music and other bands, and became an influential musician, composer, and producer.)

The album 'Heroes' is Bowie's twelfth studio LP. The title track is a favorite among the many David Bowie fans all over the world. The song was released as a 7" EP, with the English version, and two more versions, sung in German and French. International Bowie! The B side single is a song called "V-2 Schneider", written for Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk, as a thank you for the inspiration. And they WERE in Germany, the home of Kraftwerk! And that's really about the only two tracks from this album that received any kind of frequent radio play...

In 2006, a UK import 12" picture disc of that timeless album was released, in ultra small quantities. Only a handful were made and sold, then it disappeared. Probably forever! The artwork on the A side is that iconic Bowie pose, and the album title. The B side is the song titles and credits, as well as the musicians who appear on this album.

The record is a thick and heavy 180 gram vinyl. It looks amazing, and is shiny and clean! I'm not seeing flaws. I can't vouch for the sound quality as I never play specialty vinyl such as pic discs or colored records. This will come in a clear PVC jacket with hype sticker (saying 'limited edition picture disc').

These don't pop up very often, and when they do, they aren't around for long. Many sellers ask for a ridiculous amount, and they can usually get it. But not here, and not today! Grab this awesome David Bowie collectible vinyl picture disc LP before someone else gets it first.
