This is David`s second LP on the Philips/Mercury record label.
It has prooved to be the first in an unusually long line (for one artist) ,of totally classic LPs containing no filler bits at all .
Classic after classic with a few masterpieces thrown in like Cygnette Committee , Unwashed and somewhat slightly dased ,God knows im good or the SUPERB , An occassional dream .
This is a superb LP .
And its as close to SUPERB condition as you are likely to see .
This is the condition that only the hardest Bowie collectors demand .
Seriously , you will have your hands full to find a better copy.
The sleeve is in fantastic shape and although this sleeve is not laminated for protection , its held up very well over the last 38 years .Also it still has its original inner sleeve , (dont you love the English health and safety excecutive) making them write dont put the bag on your head for kids because Polythene bags can kill ! Just another sign of the times !
The colours are bright and clean inside and out with minimal wear and the spine is fully intackt .
The record vinyl is superb , totally mint with not the slightest hairline fracture . Nothing . Totally mint.
The stunning black and silver Philips labels , as you can see if you double click the pictures are really impressive .A brilliant LP sleeve with weird cartoons on the back of the album by Bowie`s long time friend and fellow artist George Underwood .
David Bowie by David Bowie in near mint condition .This LP is truly rare ,much rarer than the dress cover . Maybe you already have this . In this condition ????
