Description
You just won't find this record ever again in this condition. It's the impossibly rare 'Hits' by Dave Davies of The Kinks on the original UK Pye label (catalogue no. NEP. 24289) from 1967, The tracks are - side one - 'Death of a Clown' and 'Love Me Till the Sun Shines' and - side two - 'Funny Faces' and 'Susannah's Still Alive'. The flipback picture sleeve which is laminated on the front is in superb condition with almost no creases and virtually no discolouration. However, there is a slight tear (5mm) on the rear of the mouth of the sleeve. The only real blemish is on the rear of the sleeve is a blue circular stamp stating 'BBC Gramophone Library'. The sleeve has been graded Ex++. The record is in almost perfect condition. There are almost no spindle marks on the labels which also both have the 'BBC Gramophone Library' stamps on them. The labels are, otherwise, in superb condition. The matrix numbers are - side one - NEP 24289A-1 ^T and - side two - NEP 24289B-1 ^T. There are some surface marks on either side but these don't in any way affect the quality of the recording. The record plays through superbly on both sides with minimal surface noise and has been graded Ex++. If you are a serious psych/mod/freakbeat collector you cannot afford to be without this fine record.
