Description
Recorded in 1960 for the Epic label, comes the Dave Bailey Sextet with their LP One Foot In The Gutter (A Treasury Of Soul) on Epic LA16008 MONO 1964 label. Rare LP featuring three songs, including one long (one whole LP side)jam! Dave Bailey was with Gerry Mulligan for awhile before making this album. Dave Bailey is backed by Junior Cooke, Clark Terry, Curtis Fuller, Horace Parlan (who was recording for Blue Note Records at the time) and Peck Morrison. This is 1963 or 64 press yellow label with the stripes forming an oval around the label name on the top. I never saw it this way before!
