TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be concentrating more on listing old and rare 45's these next few weeks, but there will still be many more '50's-'60's EP's and LP's to get to - as well as other 50's-'60's memorabilia - so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This ultra rare and collectible four (4) song EP (with it's accompanying jacket) is by the popular '50's group, Danny and The Juniors, from 1958. It was the group's one and only EP release and is highly valued by collector's of early Rock'n'Roll - just check your price guides if you have any doubts. The EP includes their big hits, "At The Hop" and "Rock And Roll Is Here To Stay", plus two more songs. The original vinyl is in excellent to near mint condition - and the pictured jacket is mostly just fine as well - but not perfect so please read on and check out all the pictures above. LABEL INFO: This original ABC-Paramount Label (EP-11) is super good with no visible flaws at all - I don't even see that any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had light play - if any at all. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice, and again, I see nothing flawed here at all - maybe if you look closely enough, there might be super light (and I do mean super light) surface/paper lines in a few of places. Otherwise though, in my opinion it looks almost as good as the day it was first pressed. PICTURE SLEEVE: Finally, this extremely rare and neat picture sleeve is basically just fine, too - both the front and backsides are very shiny and clean, but please read on as there are a couple of imperfections in need of a mention here. The four dark spots on the back side only (see the pics above) appear to me to be a manufacturer's error. They are not tape marks and are not sticky at all - I really can't explain their presence, but they are there none the less. Also, there are three partial seam splits - 1" to 2" in size - in the very top two corner areas - one along the vertical seam and two along the top seam. I have pictured them above, but I firmly believe they could easily be squeezed together and glued again to very neatly repair. Finally, if you look closely enough, there are some early and light signs of ring wear or dirt "specks" (as they are just very small "dots") in the middle of the front side only. In my opinion, given the extreme value of this piece, I don't see these issues as being all that serious, but please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything - or write me if you need more info. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this early and highly collectible EP is in very good overall shape - the vinyl is nearly perfect - and, as always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $2.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
