Up for auction here is a copy of the extremely rare 2nd album from DANDO SHAFT. This is still in the shrink wrap! There is residue from a sticker in the upper left corner of the shrinkwrap. no tears on any part of the shrink except the side where the record was taken out. The vinyl looks as if it's only been played once or twice. Very shiny and only the FAINTEST hint of any kind of mark can be seen under a high wattage light. I don't think the gatefold has ever been opened on this one. Beautiful condition. This record let alone in this condition rarely comes around. Absolutely a top collector's copy. Perfect labels. Absolutely NO seam splits or ringwear. Very Very light corner rubbing on the right side(opened side) of the sleeve. BEAUTIFUL US PRESSING on RCA NEON. NE 5

"High quality all acoustic folk is what we find on Dando Shaft's 1971 release. The complicated rhythmic fabrics - woven together by intricate guitar, mandolin and violin, and joined by the expressive vocals of Polly Bolton - create unique progressive folk atmospheres that are definitely some of the best of the period." This was Dando Shaft's second album and continued in the acoustic vein of the first. With a jazzy feel to their brand of folk, comparisons to Pentangle are inevitable but there is a trippy twist with songs such as "Waves Upon The Ether" and the hilarious dope tale "Whispering Ned".

sleeve and vinyl are in mint- condition!
