Description
This is the original UK LP by DANDO SHAFT, LANTALOON, 1972 1st Press on the RCA label SF 8256
Complete with the VERY RARE POSTER
Machine stamped Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- AGBS0826-1E, Side 2:- AGBS0827-IE
Additonally in the dead wax run-off area's - Side 1 hand etched is 'AIP' and on Side 2 etched is 'AID'
Matrix, Stamper codes and additional etches clearly indentify this as a Very 1st Pressing
The original 1972 UK matt finished cover is in VG+++ condition. The cover maintains all it's original colour. The solid slim spine with pinched corners is fully intact, clean and perfectly readable. Their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits, only a small 1cm by 2cm scuff, top right hand corner, stops the cover being graded alot higher
The vinyl is in EX+++ condition, gleaming with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very very carefully!) and the vinyl plays EX+++ / MINT-.
THE QUALITY OF THIS 1st Pressing is ASTONISHING!, THE STEREO IS SO BRIGHT AND FRESH, PLAYING WITH SUCH CLAIRTY AND DEPTH, YOUR LISTEN TO IT AND JUST SMILE!, Side 1 first track at the very start, a quiet 'pop' can be heard and agin on Side 2 mid way through the 1st track, no sticking, no jumps. These minor indescretions do not spoil in anyway the enjoyment of this great sounding record
The orange RCA label's are in MINT- condition!!!, lovely and clean and fresh, maintaining all their original bright fresh white colour, their is no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear, beautiful labels!
The vinyl is housed in its original 1972 UK polythene lined inner sleeve and in EX+ condition!, clean, their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits.
The SUPER RARE POSTER is in EX+ condition, lovely and clean maintaining all its beautiful bright fresh colour, no blue tac on the back, no pin holes, no seam splits
