grade (disc/cover): strongEX / EX
notes on condition: Tiny bit of ring wear and wear to corners. Sleeve autographed in blue ballpoint on front and back (three personalized autographs with dedications).
Solid and gratifying private press from right around 1969 I believe; released on a North Hollywood label and housed in a great rudimentary, doodled-during-10th-grade-Poli-Sci-level surrealist charcoal landscape with a half-tone/ Xerox of singer Whitley crudely cut-and-pasted in, collage-style.
Includes some horns, sitar, pretty decent fuzz, keyboards...their take on "Nature Boy" and their own "A Lesson In Expenditures" are two of a number of highlights to be found.

A NM record or sleeve shows little or no signs of ever having been handled.
A disc or sleeve with only the slightest signs of wear and handling, or one that is in NM condition with one or two minor flaws, will be graded EX.
I will use NEX for items that don't qualify for a strict "EX" but don't deserve to be banished to the VG+ underworld. NEX is n-i-c-e!! and will look and sound exceptional. A VG+ record will show more signs of wear & handling; there may be noise in the dead grooves but very litttle that will affect playback.
A VG record has more wear to both the grooves and the label; it will still deliver an enjoyable listening experience.
