                                       HMV AGS MAUVE AND GOLD LABEL LIMITED EDITION LABEL Produced in the 1950's by Addison Foster on behalf of the American Gramophone Society, the Mauve and Gold label series re-issues of rare original recordings were made with the finest shellace, using Victor's Black Porcelain Formula, which gave superior results throughout production. All records in this series are original recordings; there are no copies or dubbings. Produced at the Hayes Works in England, only virgin original matrices were used. The results are strikingly superior to older commercial editions. These records were originally available in limited edtion by private subscription.  For best results, a 3 mil. stylus should be used to play these records.
