Description

Here we have the DALLAS STRING BAND playing the “Dallas Rag” and “Sweet Mama Blues”. This is Columbia Viva-Tonal # 14290-D. This is a real clean copy, with very little if any graying in the grooves and only minor scuffs. I know you record collectors are very fussy, so I am only going to Docks rate it a VG+, but you will not be disappointed. I believe the jacket is the original as well. The sound is fabulous. I played it on an Electrola XVII. It is loud and clear with great fidelity. These early electrical recordings were wonderful then and now. This is real early Texas Black Blues music. The Dallas String Band members were great artists as individuals and the mandolin is spectacular.

I want a collector to enjoy this record and have the opportunity of purchasing it, therefore it will be sold to the highest bidder, Without Reserve! The seller will pack properly and ship promptly. The Buyer will pay $11.00 shipping and insurance. This includes a special shipping box for 78 rpm records. International at cost. The seller has shipped many valuable records and has never lost one yet. Please email with any questions. Checks are OK but allow time to clear. We like PayPal.
