Up for auction with NO RESERVE is this original copy of the Dale Hawkins classic OH! SUZY-Q as released on the CHESS / ARGO record label in 1958. 

With a rare album such as this, I will allow prospective bidders to determine their own grade for this LP based upon the photos.

My description follows:

The front cover of the LP jacket is one of the nicest I've seen (see close-up photos for details)

The back cover, physically, is very solid with no tears or scuffs.  However, there is some sort of staining which I have seen on many copies of this LP (but I have no clue as to why - please see photo). 

There are no split seams and the spines - side, top, and bottom are fully intact (some paper "chipping" is evident) and the corners are not crushed - which seems to be rather common with many older LPs (again, please view the photos).

The weakest link with this LP, in my opinion, is the actual vinyl.  My dad bought this LP brand new in '58 and, unfortunately, when I was young I got my grubby little hands on it.  The scratches on the LP are all from me when I was just a kid who had not yet developed the finer skills of "collecting" records. 

The photos of the vinyl actually make it look worse than it appears to the naked eye; however, I intentionally used the flash under bright lights in an effort to show all of the flaws so there will be no "surprises" for the winning bidder.

To my amazement, the labels are in exceptional condition, especially when compared to the condition of the vinyl (see close-up photos).

The original inner sleeve is gone but I have stored the LP in an MFSL rice-paper sleeve and that will also be included. 

I currently do not own a working turntable so I am unable to describe the playing condition of the vinyl.

If SHIPPING CHARGES calculate on the high side I will, as always, refund every cent of shipping paid by the buyer that exceeds actual cost.  I do cover the cost of insurance.

PACKAGING: I want you to receive your item without any damage from shipping. Therefore, I pack using sturdy boxes and lots of bubble wrap. I add NO extra charge for the packaging materials.

SHIPPING: I ship both National and International and charge ONLY the exact amount charged by the U.S. Postal Service. I combine shipping on multiple purchases. I typically ship within 3 business days of receiving notification of clear payment from PayPal. 

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: If you pay more for shipping than it actually costs then I will issue a refund for the difference to your PayPal account. I do not charge a handling fee and I have never charged more for shipping than it actually costs.
