Description
Hi there and welcome!
Ok... so if you are looking at this I do not need to tell you how rare and collectable it is! A quick look on the vinyl listings site 'popsike' and you will see this title more often sells for over £200.00 up to 340.00!
I am however open to sensible "best offers" through ebay.
*overseas buyers must contact me for a postage quote prior to bidding*
GRADED: (see grading scale at bottom of page)

First pressing! Vertigo Catalogue Number:
6360 038
I have played through the record on a high end turntable with an 'ortofon 2m black cartridge'. [you cant tell the grading of a record just by looking!] The record itself plays through beautifully and still has a nice sheene to it with no scratches or signs of wear. Lovely strong sound and very quiet inbetween songs. The vinyl has had a very soft brush over with a 'Pro-ject anti-static brush whilst on the turntable. I have not cleaned it with any chemicals or machine... Again... I feel it best to leave it up to the buyer! (i wouldnt want someone cleaning my records with chemicals!).
The cover has two very small minor marks... One that looks like a tiny bit of sticky tape residue and one a scuff mark... See photos... Otherwise gatefold cover inside and out great condition including the spines with no splits.
The inside 'swirl' sleeve has discolouration and the inside polythene in the sleeve has come away from the glue (goodness knows what glue they used in 1971!). Rest assured the vinyl itself has never been in contact with the glue mark as the polythene still covers it. I could have replaced the polythene by using some from another record but when removed this polythene has a slightly curved edge so i felt it important to keep it in its original state and leave it to the buyer to repair or replace if they wish.
I have detailed all the slight defects I can see so there should be no "surprises" upon receipt of this!
For shipping I have placed the cover in a plastic gatefold wallet I had. The vinyl itself will be placed in a separate sleeve and envelope to avoid spliting the cover in transport. I offer free postage on this item and will insure it for the winning amount. It will be trackable by the buyer and signed for upon receipt.
Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have and thanks for looking.
Rare Record Grading Guide
11 ~ Mint
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
1 ~ Excellent
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
2 ~ Very Good
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
3 ~ Good
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
4 ~ Fair
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
