The album is very eclectic with plenty psych, reminiscent of Buffalo Springfield for example but also nice psych folk tinges.

!!!!AN IMPOSSIBLE FIND!!! A few hundred (rumoured to be around 600) were ever pressed of this fantastic prog/psych album. It barely sold at all because of poor promotion and remained in the bargain racks for decades without being played.

Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. NO clicks or crackle, this is really a stunning heavy glossy jet black vinyl .  Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.   

      OF COURSE ALL PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM FOR AUCTION. THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST (and only) FIRST UK PRESSING FROM 1971 OF A FINE FOLK PSYCH GUITAR PROG ALBUM.  AGAIN SOME VERY FINE PLAYING ON THIS. THIS HAS BEEN BARELY PLAYED AT ALL, PERHAPS ONCE OR TWICE.  ANOTHER COPY TAPED & THEN STORED. BOTH SIDES OF THE VINYL ARE IN THE ULTIMATE BEST NEAR MINT CONDITION WITH JUST LIGHT PAPER RETRACTION TRACES. THE VINYL IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FAULT OR BEAT. YOU WILL NOT FIND BETTER VINYL THAN THIS.

RECORD 6360 038 with matrices 1Y//2  with stamper codes 1 1  1 and 2Y//1 with stamper codes 1 1  AGAIN YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY EARLIER STAMPERS THAN THESE, THE FIRST OUT OF THE FACTORY. 

Vinyl: EX++!! Sensational!!! I have played this in FULL twice over> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation.  I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great prog/folk/psych collection. It does not even have any crackle or static. Barely played at all, this has to be the very best vinyl of this album left on our planet!!!  Needless to say, NO jumps/clicks/skips etc.

Gatefold Sleeve: VG++ to EX.  NO creases.  A very hard sleeve to find in decent condition especially with it being matt  this is totally prone for wear. The spine is 100% legible. There is light edgewear and a catalogue sticker to the right top. Also some sticker remnant as can be seen on the picture. A tiny colourfill to the rear left bottom. Other than that this sleeve rules supreme!!! The opening is SHARP, another pointer to the EX++ state of the vinyl.This sleeve is lovely if you can accept the mentioned points!!!

Inner Sleeve: EX+. The original polylined inner Vertigo Swirl sleeve. NO tears or splits, just light age related edge yellowing, you do not often find them like this. It has the right date stamp "0171".

***This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible!!! This is  a great and seriously collectable super album!!  You will buy into a piece of  prog core history.***
