Description
This is a extremely rare lp album of the Christian radio program Crosswalk air dates 11/27/88 and 12/4/88. The artist interviewed on 11/27/88 is Mark Farner of Grand Funk and Mark Farner again on 12/4/88. The program aired on some christian radio stations not all. These albums were made in extremely low numbers and privately pressed. Many were destroyed after they aired. They came to the station in only a record sleeve no jacket in a record mailer. Each side of the album plays a 30 minute weekly segment and has a feature contemporary christian music artist including an interview with them. They also feature hit songs of the day from other artists. The album has a new vinyl gloss shine but does have some scratches here and there. As with most vinyl some nicks and pops can be heard when playing which may be static to some extent. Each disc comes with a sheet that gives the song list plus guest interview artist. I bought them a number of years ago and enjoyed hearing the artists themselves not reading about them in an article. Live interviews of artists being up front and personal on this program is enlightening. They are a extremely rare piece of contemporary christian music history never to be duplicated in any form. There are many interviews with the pioneers of Contemporary Christian Music.
