Original Press with 1840 Broadway, NY address on labels?
It is incredibly rare to find an original copy without at least sheen-rub marks to soft pebbled cover stock and wear spots throughout the paste-on photo. This one even retains wear-free edges and corner-tips all around -just as if the factory shrink wrap was just pulled off.
Of course, almost none of these originals kept their shrink wrap after purchase, due to the tactile appeal of the outer cover and the simple fact that it is a gatefold with all the info inside. Folks just didn't keep them in wrap. This unblemished cover condition is rare indeed.
Later pressing were enclosed in a much thinner, less textured sleeve with a silk sheen to them and a browner tinge to the black,
This is the original heavily textured DEEP BLACK sleeve, with NO spine titles.
SUPER CLEAN, Clear, Full sound quality on this original Pressing!
*This is a 'MONARCH' pressing, w/the 'MO' suffix on label's job # (ST-A 701830-MO)
and Monarch Recorders' circled MR lightly stamped in the dead wax both sides.
MONARCH RECORDERS was the top West Coast Pressing Plant of the day.

Crosby, Still, and Nash topped their enormously popular self-titled 1969 debut by adding Neil Young to their ranks and expanding their stylistic and sonic range. The result, released in 1970, was an enormous artistic and commercial success, representing the talents of the four primary players to excellent effect. More ambitious and incisive than its CSN predecessor, DEJA VU brings together varied substances and edges to their sound, including folk, psychedelia, touches of jazz, African, and Middle Eastern flavors, Tin Pan Alley and heavy rock in a way that captures the tenor of the era's counterculture without sounding dated.
The group's distinctively lush harmonies are spread across the album, notably on the record's two centerpieces - "Carry On", which segues into a chugging, percussion-fueled groove halfway through, and "Woodstock", the band's hard rocking re-work of the Joni Mitchell song. Elsewhere, the songs are stamped by individual personalities, as on David Crosby's driving "Almost Cut My Hair", Graham Nash's feel-good piece "Our House" and Stephen Stills dark, folky "4+20". Young's aching, plaintive "Helpless" is one of the highlights here, as is Crosby's complex title cut (with its intricate rhythms and vocal arrangements). Another highlight is the warm, inspiring country-folk of "Teach Your Children", with Jerry Garcia guesting on languid, sparkling Pedal Steel Guitar.
All of this variety made Déjà Vu a rich musical banquet for the most serious and personal listeners, while mass audiences reveled in the glorious harmonies and the thundering electric guitars, which were presented in even more dramatic and expansive fashion on the tour that followed. Though their time together was tumultuous and short-lived, CSNY were one of the most successful acts of the era, and DEJA VU finds them at their peak.
